The Last Remnant Remastered Switch NSP XCI – The Last Remnant Remastered is a role-playing game originally released in 2008 by Square Enix. After being successful on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, this game is now available in a remastered version for Nintendo Switch in 2019.

In this game, players will play a character named Rush Sykes, a teenager who is looking for his missing younger sister. In the midst of his search, Rush becomes involved in a major conflict between three forces: Remnant, The Conqueror, and The Council. Apart from Rush, players can also recruit other characters to help them in battle.

The Last Remnant Remastered offers different combat than usual role-playing games. Players will control an army rather than a single character like in other RPG games. Players can lead a group of soldiers and order them to attack or defend. There is also the ability to customize troops by changing weapons, equipment and battle strategies.

The game’s graphics are also significantly improved in the remastered version. Made with Unreal Engine 4, this game has a sharper and more detailed appearance. Additionally, the music and sound effects have also seen significant improvements.
