Pokémon Legends: Arceus Switch NSP XCI – Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an RPG game developed and published by The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch console. This game is scheduled for release on January 28 2022 and is the 8th generation Pokémon game. In this game, players will begin their adventure as Pokémon trainers and explore the Hisui region, a new region inspired by the Ancient Japanese region.

Adventures in the Hisui Region

Hisui is an area untouched by humans and inhabited by a variety of wild Pokémon. Players will begin their adventure as members of a Pokémon research team and tasked with completing Hisui’s Pokédex. Apart from that, players will also interact with various different characters and discover the mysteries of this region.

In this game, players can discover a variety of new Pokémon that have never been discovered before, as well as classic Pokémon that are well known and loved by fans. Additionally, players can also catch wild Pokémon and evolve them to help them in battle.

Battle System Improvements

The battle system in Pokémon Legends: Arceus has undergone significant changes compared to previous Pokémon games. Players can choose between Live Combat mode or Tactical Combat mode. Live Battle Mode allows players to directly battle opponents without requiring a transition to a dedicated battle screen. Meanwhile, Tactical Battle mode allows players to choose various strategies and actions in battle, such as attacking, defending, or using items.

Apart from that, the Pokémon in this game also have a special ability called the Sinking Ability. This ability allows players to sneak up and approach wild Pokémon without being seen, thereby increasing their chances of catching said Pokémon.
